We’re thrilled to announce that Sue Quackenbush, Chief People Officer at Dynatrace, has been named an honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in HR Awards: Culture Leader category!

This prestigious award celebrates exceptional women who are transforming the human resources landscape through innovative strategies, compassionate leadership, and a commitment to creating better workplaces – recognizing the value of HR leadership not just for the individuals honored, but their entire organization.

Building a “People First” culture

With 25 years of HR leadership experience, Sue has been instrumental in shaping Dynatrace’s people-first culture and implementing forward-thinking HR initiatives that have not only enhanced employee experience but also drove business results. Her strategic approach to talent management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development has created an atmosphere that empowers each Dynatracer to excel.

“Creating an environment where every individual can thrive is my passion,” said Sue Quackenbush. “I believe companies that cultivate an environment aligned with the organization’s purpose for individuals to safely bring their whole selves to work, attract the right talent. Empowering individuals to grow personally and professionally fuels the innovations that companies need to succeed in our fast-paced, digital world.”

Sue’s commitment to fostering connection across Dynatrace’s global team is exemplified through her monthly podcast series, “Real Talks.” This podcast features employee stories that build deeper connections across the organization and has gained significant traction, generating 5,000 downloads, 250 followers, and 19,500 landing page visits within just the past year.

A Ragan judge remarked that Sue has “created a consistent, singular mindset that the company can unite behind. She leads her roughly 200-person team with unification in mind, too, where they can develop areas like talent development, acquisition, workplace experience, people operations, employer branding, and people services and analytics.”

Looking forward

As Sue continues to lead Dynatrace’s people strategy, her focus remains on creating an environment where employees can thrive, innovate, and grow. This recognition validates the value of her people-centric approach and reinforces our company’s commitment to fostering a forward-thinking and supportive workplace culture.
