Diversity in our organization is not just about spotlighting the achievements of women at Dynatrace and in technology, but about fostering a more diverse and inclusive workplace that allows our entire community to join together to create, innovate and inspire.
Dynatrace’s purpose to help software work perfectly would not be achievable without the support of our passionate teams across the globe. Dynatrace’s focus on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment is critical to our mission to provide software intelligence to simplify modern cloud complexity and accelerate digital transformation.
In this spirit, Dynatrace has announced a 12-month national partnership with the not-for-profit organization Girls in Tech Australia.
Dynatrace to collaborate with Girls in Tech Australia
In this partnership, Dynatrace will work closely with the Girls in Tech Australian chapter and their programs aimed to connect, engage and inspire women across Australia. The collaboration will include Dynatrace’s contribution to key events, including the Girls in Tech Australia Conference in Victoria as well as virtual events and community-based volunteering to build more inclusive tech workforces.
We all share an unquenchable curiosity that continuously drives us to innovate and push boundaries. Our partnership with Girls in Tech and by involving the Dynatrace brand with this corporate social investment will continue building our reputation as a responsible and conscientious organization. It will show our employees, partners, and customers that we recognize and value every woman in tech, and that diversity, inclusion, and belonging are fundamental to the success of Dynatrace and the ecosystem we exist in.
To further our goal of being a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace, we have introduced a team dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition, we continue to establish active new employee resource groups, such as Women of Dynatrace in APAC to support unique interests and initiatives throughout the organization.
Hacking for Humanity
The partnership came about after Dynatrace’s recent participation in the Girls in Tech Australia’s Hacking for Humanity, a virtual hack-a-thon, which aimed to contribute to solving climate issues to help pave a path to a better world across energy, conservation, and waste. The Hackers (around 100 dedicated community members) had the opportunity to choose from a broad spectrum of business problems to support charities in shaping this vision. Dynatrace joined an illustrious panel of experts, role models, and mentors to participate in the event and shared critical skills to create some innovative and practical solutions to the earth’s climate problems.
“Since partnering with Dynatrace for our hackathon last year, it became clear their passion for diversity, equity and inclusion was helping the business get ahead in Australia,” said Jessica Box, Managing Director, Girls in Tech. “We’re excited to deepen this partnership and have the Dynatrace team part of the GIT family as we continue to spread the word and bring communities of women together to craft a more diverse future.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Dynatrace as a major national partner,” Box continued. “We look forward to tapping into Dynatrace’s depth of tech expertise and uniquely inclusive culture, to inspire and support the growth of our community.”
Dynatrace is committed to a more sustainable future through transparency and accountability. To learn more about Dynatrace’s investment in diversity, equity and inclusion, see Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) at Dynatrace.
