Farooq Shaikh
Farooq is a cybersecurity researcher specializing in cloud security, threat intelligence, and Kubernetes security. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida and is currently a Senior Security Researcher at Dynatrace, focusing on automated exploitation frameworks, Kubernetes misconfigurations and anomaly detection.
His past work includes developing patented threat detection models, improving authentication anomaly detection, and designing cybersecurity risk-scoring systems. His research has been published in leading cybersecurity journals.
Beyond research, he has organized hacking competitions and mentored students in cybersecurity. His interests include adversarial movement in cloud environments, automated security analytics, and scalable threat detection.
